  1. As used in this section:
    1. “Adverse action” has the meaning established in section 24-60-4102.
    2. “Commission” means the audiology and speech-language pathology compact commission established in section 24-60-4102.
    3. “Compact” means the audiology and speech-language pathology interstate compact authorized in part 41 of article 60 of title 24.
    4. “Data system” has the meaning established in section 24-60-4102.
    5. “Telehealth” has the meaning established in section 24-60-4102 with regard to delivering speech-language pathology services.
  2. With regard to the compact, the director has the following powers and duties:
    1. To facilitate Colorado’s participation in the compact;
    2. To promulgate the rules necessary for the implementation, administration, and enforcement of the compact. The director shall promulgate rules in accordance with article 4 of title 24.
    3. To appoint a person to serve as a commissioner on the commission;
    4. To regulate telehealth in accordance with the compact;
    5. To notify the commission of any adverse action regarding a speech-language pathologist;
    6. To provide uniform data to the data system consistent with the rules of the commission; and
    7. To approve payment of assessments levied by the commission to cover the cost of operations and activities of the commission and its staff.
