  1. Low THC oil and products shall only be dispensed to registered patients in this state by a dispensing licensee or directly from the commission pursuant to this article.
  2. A pharmacist who dispenses low THC oil or products shall seek and review information on a registered patient from the prescription drug monitoring program data base established pursuant to Code Section 16-13-57 prior to dispensing low THC oil or products to the registered patient.

The 2021 amendment, effective July 1, 2021, inserted “and products” near the beginning of subsection (a); and twice inserted “or products” in subsection (b).

L. 2021, p. 184, § 28/SB 195, not codified by the General Assembly, provides that: “Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to change, amend, or alter any criteria for applications for a Class 1 or Class 2 production license submitted to the Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission on or prior to January 27, 2021.”
