- In addition to any other penalty provided by law, the court may order any person who is convicted of an act of child abuse, as defined in section 18-6-401 (1), to meet all or any portion of the financial obligations of treatment prescribed for the victim or victims of his offense.
- At the time of sentencing, the court may order that an offender described in subsection (1) of this section be put on a period of probation for the purpose of paying the treatment costs of the victim or victims.
