(a) May 5 of each year shall be observed as “Paws for a Cause Day”. In any year in which May 5 falls on a Saturday or Sunday, “Paws for a Cause Day” shall be observed on the following Monday.

(b) The Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture is responsible for organizing and publicizing events throughout the Territory to commemorate “Paws for a Cause Day”.
