[ Editor’s note: This version of this section is effective until March 1, 2022. ] If any county commissioner acts as such officer, performs any of the duties, or exercises any of the rights or privileges of county commissioner without being bonded or insured pursuant to section 30-10-311, or after judgment of removal from such office has been entered, the commissioner is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred nor more than five thousand dollars, and by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than thirty days nor more than six months.
