This article shall only apply to:
- Owners of residential rental property that accept compensation for the use of residential property by another;
- Landlords that accept compensation for the use of residential property by another;
- Day-care facilities; and
- Schools.

The 2022 amendment, effective July 1, 2022, rewrote this Code section, which read: “This article shall only apply to:
“(1) Owners of residential rental property; and
“(2) Landlords
“that accept compensation for the use of residential property by another.”.
