§ 36-69A-3. Definitions

As used in this chapter, the term:

1. “Public agency” means:
   1. Any political subdivision of this state other than a county school district or independent school district;
   2. Any volunteer fire department;
   3. Any volunteer rescue squad;
   4. Any agency of the state government or of the United States; and
   5. Any political subdivision of another state.
2. “State” means a state of the United States.
