- An “elector” or “elector of the district”, or any term of similar import, means a person who:
- At the time of the election, is qualified to vote in general elections in this state; and
- Either:
- Has been a resident of the district for not less than thirty-two days at the time of the election; or
- Owns or whose spouse owns taxable real or personal property within the district.
- Registration pursuant to the laws concerning general elections or any other laws shall not be required.
