- Except as provided in subsection (b) of this Code section, any person who shall willfully violate any provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine of not more than $1,000.00 or imprisonment not to exceed 12 months, or both.
- Any person who shall willfully violate paragraph (2) of subsection (a) of Code Section 44-3-5 or subsection (d) of Code Section 44-3-5 shall be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $5,000.00 or imprisonment for not less than one and not more than five years, or both.
- Nothing in this article shall limit any statutory or common-law right of the state to punish any person for violation of any provision of any law.
- Nothing in this article shall be deemed to prohibit the Attorney General from exercising any powers under Part 2 of Article 15 of Chapter 1 of Title 10 against any person.
