§ 44-32-601. Underage Wagering

1. No person under the age of eighteen years shall purchase, redeem, or attempt to purchase or redeem any pari-mutuel ticket.
2. No person shall sell any pari-mutuel ticket to a person under the age of eighteen years.
3. [ Editor’s note: This version of subsection (3) is effective until March 1, 2022.] Any person who violates this section commits a class 2 petty offense, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars.

   (3) [ Editor’s note: This version of subsection (3) is effective March 1, 2022. ] Any person who violates this section commits a civil infraction.
