- In addition to any other penalties that may apply, any person violating any of the provisions of section 44-40-116 commits a class 2 misdemeanor and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-501.
- Any person violating the sale restrictions of section 44-40-116 (1)(c) may also be proceeded against pursuant to section 18-6-701 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
- Any person issuing, suspending, revoking, or renewing contracts pursuant to section 44-40-106 or licenses pursuant to section 44-40-107 for any personal pecuniary gain or any thing of value as defined in section 18-1-901 (3)(r), or any person violating any of the provisions of section 44-40-110, commits a class 3 felony and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-401.
- Any person violating any of the provisions of this article 40 relating to disclosure by providing any false or misleading information commits a class 6 felony and shall be punished as provided in section 18-1.3-401.
