The Governor shall require a new surety and bond for the performance of any public duty by any officer under this chapter when, in the Governor’s discretion:
- The surety gives written notice to the Governor of his desire to be relieved from future liability for good cause stated and sworn to; or
- The surety becomes insufficient, based upon satisfactory evidence.
