- The administrator shall approve or deny an initial registration as a provider within one hundred twenty (120) days after an application is filed. In connection with a request pursuant to § 47-18-5506(19) for additional information, the administrator may extend the one hundred twenty-day period for not more than sixty (60) days. Within seven (7) days after denying an application, the administrator, in a record, shall inform the applicant of the reasons for the denial.
- If the administrator does not act on an application within the time prescribed in subsection (a), the applicant may appeal and request a hearing pursuant to the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5, part 3.
- Subject to §§ 47-18-5511(d) and 47-18-5534, a registration as a provider is valid for one (1) year.
