- Formation. One (1) or more persons may, acting as organizers, form a PLLC, by filing articles of organization with the secretary of state, that comply with the applicable provisions of this chapter, including § 48-249-1108, and that also state that:
- It is a PLLC;
- Its purpose is to render specified professional services; and
- The PLLC has one (1) or more qualified persons as members and no disqualified persons as members or holders.
- Election. An LLC may elect professional LLC status by amending its articles to comply with subsection (a).
