§ 6-7.5-104. Scope and Applicability

1. Subject to subsection (2) of this section and as further specified in section 6-7.5-105, this article 7.5 applies to the following products sold as new in Colorado:
   1. Air compressors;
   2. Commercial dishwashers;
   3. Commercial fryers;
   4. Commercial hot food holding cabinets;
   5. Commercial steam cookers;
   6. Computers and computer monitors;
   7. Faucets;
   8. Flushometer-valve water closets;
   9. General service lamps;
   10. High CRI fluorescent lamps;
   11. Portable air conditioners;
   12. Portable electric spas;
   13. Residential ventilating fans;
   14. Spray sprinkler bodies;
   15. Uninterruptible power supplies; and
   16. Water coolers.
2. This article 7.5 does not apply to:
   1. Products installed in mobile manufactured homes at the time of construction;
   2. Products designed expressly for installation and use in recreational vehicles; or
   3. Products held in inventory on or before the effective date of the applicable standard for each category of product set forth in this article 7.5.
3. This article 7.5 is not enforceable against an employee of a contractor who installs, repairs, or replaces appliances and collects from the customer an amount representing both parts and labor.
