§ 449a. Uniformity of application and construction

In applying and construing this subchapter, consideration must be given to the need to promote uniformity of the law with respect to its subject matter among states that enact the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act, as amended in 2008.

§ 446a. Applicability

This article applies only to a support proceeding under the Convention. In such a proceeding, if a provision of this article is inconsistent with Articles A through F, this article controls.
