§ 1112. Consideration and custody of cases during judicial proceedings
The Sanity Board shall, when occasion arises, consider cases of mental illness and have jurisdiction over and custody of such cases pending the commencement of and during the judicial proceedings provided in this chapter.
§ 1113. Restraint and treatment of cases during judicial proceedings
The Sanity Board shall restrain and treat, pending commencement of and during the judicial proceedings as provided in this chapter, apparent causes of mental illness in any manner and in any place it deems necessary.
§ 1114. Notice to judge of district court
Immediately upon the restraint by the Sanity Board of any person apparently mentally ill, the Sanity Board shall in writing notify the judge of the district court of such restraint.
