§ 161a. Unlawful practice of optometry

It shall be unlawful for any person to practice or to offer to practice optometry in the Virgin Islands, or to use any title, abbreviation, sign, card or device to indicate that such person is practicing optometry, except as provided in this subchapter.

§ 161b. License required

(a) Any person desiring to practice optometry in the Virgin Islands shall first obtain a license to do so in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter. (b) A license issued pursuant to this subchapter for the practice of optometry shall be issued for a period of two years.

§ 152. Expiration of license; fee

A license for the operation of a pharmacy shall be valid until the 31st day of December following issuance and, except as otherwise provided for herein, shall carry the same rights and responsibilities as licenses issued under chapter 9 of this title.
