§ 13-5-401. Museum established
The State Parks Division is authorized and directed to establish a state historical museum in Union County to be known and operated as the “Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources”.

(a) The Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources shall be developed and operated by the State Parks Division and shall be devoted primarily to the acquisition, cataloging, and display of machinery, equipment, and materials used in the oil boom in Arkansas. The Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources shall be established at a site to be approved by the State Parks Division, with the lands therefor, which shall consist of not fewer than five (5) acres, to be donated without cost to the State of Arkansas.
