§ 14-43-201. Odd-year elections abolished

(a) Municipal elections in 1965 and all odd years in the future are abolished. (b) It is the purpose of this section to elect municipal officials at the regular general election for the election of state and county officials.

§ 14-43-202. Write-in votes not counted

In all general elections held in cities of the first class and second class and incorporated towns for the election of officials of these municipalities, no ballots shall be counted for any person whose name is written in thereon.
