This chapter shall be known and may be cited as “The Mississippi Agricultural Liming Materials Act of 1993.” This chapter shall be administered by the Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce of the State of Mississippi herein referred to as the “commissioner.”

The commissioner may, with the approval of the Attorney General as provided in Section 69-1-25, promulgate such rules and regulations in accordance with the Mississippi Administrative Procedures Law as may be necessary for the effective enforcement of this chapter.
