§ 49-6-301. “Schools” Defined

“Elementary schools” are schools serving any combination of kindergarten through grade six (K-6). “Middle schools” are schools designed to serve grades five through eight (5-8) only, or any combination of grades five through eight (5-8). “Elementary and secondary” and “elementary or secondary” include elementary, middle and high school grades.
