§ 50-7-214. “Week” Defined
“Week” means the period of seven (7) consecutive days that the commissioner prescribes by regulation. The commissioner may by regulation prescribe that a week shall be deemed to be “in,” “within” or “during” that benefit year that includes the greater part of the week.

§ 50-7-208. “Employment Office” Defined
“Employment office” means a free public employment office, or branch of a free public employment office, operated by the United States or by any state of the United States or by a state, province or similar political subdivision of a foreign government.
§ 50-7-209. “Fund” Defined
“Fund” means the unemployment compensation fund established by this chapter, to which all premiums required, and from which all benefits provided under this chapter, shall be paid.
§ 50-7-210. “State” and “United States” Defined
For the purposes of this chapter: “State” includes the states of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; and “United States,” when used in a geographical sense, includes the states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
