§ 64-1-1111. Relation to Existing Laws — Construction of Part
This part shall be considered supplemental and additional to any and all other laws and confers sufficient authority in and of itself for the purposes set forth in this part. This part shall be liberally construed to effectuate its purpose.
§ 64-2-101. Creation — Purpose
There is hereby created the North East Tennessee railroad authority in the counties of Anderson, Campbell and Scott. This authority is intended to secure economic benefits to the counties of Anderson, Campbell and Scott, by providing for the continuation of railroad service in Anderson, Campbell and Scott counties.
