Sec. 19.75.911. Exemption from local regulation.
Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, the activities of the authority are exempt from land use planning, zoning, permitting, or other similar governmental powers of political subdivisions of the state.

Sec. 19.75.980. Definitions.
In this chapter, except as otherwise provided and unless the context requires otherwise, (1) “authority” means the Knik Arm Bridge and Toll Authority; (2) “board” means the board of directors of the authority; (3) “department” means the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities; (4) [Repealed, § 22 ch 61 SLA 2015.]
