Section 15-22-114 Validity of posthumous pardon. For the public welfare, a pardon granted by the board pursuant to this article shall not require formal delivery to and acceptance by the candidate’s family or legal heirs in order to be considered valid. (Act 2013-81, p. 180, §5.)
