Section 45-44-72.02 Chief clerk. The chief clerk of the county commission shall be appointed for a four-year term of office and shall serve at the pleasure of the commission. (Act 97-663, p. 1272, § 3.)

Section 45-44-72.03 Employees. Employees to be employed in the office of the county commission shall be recommended by the chair of the commission to the county commission.
