§ 59.1-394.2. Compact Committee members
The Governor shall appoint one official to represent the Commonwealth on the Compact Committee for a term of four years. No official shall serve more than three consecutive terms. A vacancy shall be filled by the Governor for the unexpired term. 2000, c. 992.
§ 59.1-394.3. Cooperation of departments, agencies and officers of the Commonwealth
All departments, agencies and officers of the Commonwealth and its political subdivisions are hereby authorized to cooperate with the Compact Committee in furtherance of any of its activities pursuant to the Compact. 2000, c. 992.
§ 59.1-394.4. Racing Commission powers preserved
Nothing in this article shall be construed to diminish or limit the powers and responsibilities of the Racing Commission established by Article 1 of this chapter or to invalidate any action of the Racing Commission previously taken, including without limitation any regulation promulgated thereby. 2000, c. 992.
