§ 8.01-227.21. Common law regarding minors
Nothing in this article shall abrogate Virginia common law regarding either (i) the capacity of a minor to be contributorily negligent or to assume a risk or (ii) the standard for measuring the conduct of a minor. 2012, c. 713.
§ 8.01-227.22. Failure to fulfill duty or responsibility not negligence per se
An operator’s or participant’s failure to abide by or fulfill a duty or responsibility under this article shall not constitute negligence per se. 2012, c. 713.
