20-28-1-2. “Applicant”
Sec. 2. “Applicant” refers to an applicant for: (1) a new license; (2) a renewal license; (3) a substitute teacher certificate; or (4) a transition to teaching license; issued by the department. Sec. 5. “Defense service” refers to the United States military service, the United States naval service, and the allied or auxiliary war service, including the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and other similar services connected with the armed forces of the United States.
