25-1-12-2. “Active Duty” Defined

Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, “active duty” means full-time service in the: (1) armed forces of the United States; or (2) national guard; for a period that exceeds thirty (30) consecutive days in a calendar year. As added by P.L.88-2004, SEC.2.

25-1-12-3. “Armed Forces of the United States” Defined

Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, “armed forces of the United States” means the active or reserve components of: (1) the Army; (2) the Navy; (3) the Air Force; (4) the Coast Guard; (5) the Marine Corps; or (6) the Merchant Marine. As added by P.L.88-2004, SEC.2. Amended by P.L.2-2005, SEC.64.

25-1-12-4. “National Guard” Defined

Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, “national guard” means: (1) the Indiana army national guard; or (2) the Indiana air national guard. As added by P.L.88-2004, SEC.2.

25-1-12-5. “Practitioner” Defined

Sec. 5. As used in this chapter, “practitioner” means an individual who holds: (1) an unlimited license, certificate, or registration; (2) a limited or probationary license, certificate, or registration; (3) a temporary license, certificate, registration, or permit; (4) an intern permit; or (5) a provisional license; issued under this title, IC 16, or IC 22. 25-1-12-7. Waiver of Late Fees

Sec. 7. Any late fees that may be assessed against a practitioner in connection with a renewal under this chapter are waived. As added by P.L.88-2004, SEC.2.

25-1-12-8. Construction With Federal Law

Sec. 8. This chapter may not be construed as a restriction or limitation on any of the rights, benefits, and protections granted to a member of: (1) the armed forces of the United States; or (2) the national guard; under federal law. As added by P.L.88-2004, SEC.2.
