Sec. 1. Each board of registration office that is not located in the same building as the principal office of the circuit court clerk or board of registration office is designated as a voter registration office under 52 U.S.C. 20506(a)(3). Sec. 2. Except as provided in this chapter, the board of registration office shall accept and process voter registration applications as provided in IC 3-7-18. As added by P.L.12-1995, SEC.28.
Sec. 3. For the purposes of this chapter, the county election board is the “governing body” under IC 3-7-18. As added by P.L.12-1995, SEC.28.
Sec. 4. An individual who registers to vote under this chapter must submit a voter registration application to a member or an employee of the board of registration. As added by P.L.12-1995, SEC.28.
Sec. 5. The governing body is not required to designate an individual to be responsible for performing the voter registration duties of the board. As added by P.L.12-1995, SEC.28.
Sec. 6.
