33-33-38-1. Judicial Circuit

Sec. 1. Jay County constitutes the fifty-eighth judicial circuit. [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-4-1-38.] As added by P.L.98-2004, SEC.12.

33-33-38-2. Establishment of Standard Superior Court

Sec. 2. (a) There is established a court of record to be known as the Jay superior court. (b) The Jay superior court is a standard superior court as described in IC 33-29-1. 33-33-38-3. Judge; Location of Court Sessions

Sec. 3. The Jay superior court has one (1) judge who shall hold sessions in: (1) the Jay County courthouse in Portland; or (2) other places in the county as the Jay County executive may provide. [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-5-25.7-7.] As added by P.L.98-2004, SEC.12.
