Art. 613. Jurisdiction of court where body of water is parish boundary When a river, bayou, lake, water course, or other body of water is the boundary of any parish, the jurisdiction of the court of such parish extends to the middle of such river, bayou, lake, water course, or other body of water.
Art. 614. Venue where offense committed within one hundred feet of parish boundary An offense committed on the boundary line of two parishes or within one hundred feet thereof is deemed to have been committed in either parish.
