Section 17-1013 – Penalty
Except as otherwise specifically provided in Part II of this subtitle, a person who violates Part II of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $500 for each offense.
Section 17-1101 – “License” Defined
In this subtitle, “license” means a license issued by the clerk to do the business of cleaning, dyeing, pressing, or laundering.
Section 17-1102 – License Required
A person must have a license whenever the person does the business of cleaning, dyeing, pressing, or laundering, other than hand laundering, in the State.
