Section 17-438 – Penalties
A person who violates Part IV of this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both.

Section 17-433 – Scope of Part
Part IV of this subtitle applies only in Garrett County.
Section 17-434 – License Required
Whenever a person keeps an amusement device for public use in Garrett County, the person must have a Garrett County amusement device license for that amusement device.
Section 17-435 – License Fees; Disposition of Money
(a) An applicant for a Garrett County amusement device license shall pay to the clerk a license fee of $50 for each amusement device. (b) All money collected under Part IV of this subtitle shall be paid into the general fund of Garrett County.
Section 17-436 – Issuance and Display of Certificate
(a) For each amusement device licensed under Part IV of this subtitle, the clerk shall issue a certificate that the license fee for the current year has been paid. (b) The certificate shall be attached to the amusement device.
Section 17-437 – Transferability of License
A Garrett County amusement device license may be transferred to another amusement device of the same type.
