Section 13-605 – Results of Hearing Screening of Newborns to Be Included in Birth Event Information
(a) As part of the supplemental information required to be submitted to the Department as part of the birth event, a hospital shall include the results of the hearing screening of the newborn. Section 13-701 – Purpose
The Emergency and Allergy Treatment Program is a program in the Department for the purpose of providing a means of authorizing certain individuals to administer life–saving treatment to individuals who have severe adverse reactions to allergens or insect stings when physician services or emergency medical services are not immediately available in a youth camp.
Section 13-7A-09 – Report of Each Incident
A certificate holder shall submit to the Department, in the manner required under § 13–7A–03 of this subtitle, a report of each incident that occurred on the premises of a participating facility that involved the administration of auto–injectable epinephrine by a certificate holder or an agent.
Section 13-402 – Statement of Purpose
The purposes of this subtitle and of the advisory councils that it creates are to protect and improve physical fitness, including: (1) Improvement of habits in recreation, exercise, sports, and the use of leisure time; (2) Protection and improvement of physique and health; and (3) Improvement of instruction for any of these purposes.
