Section 11-502 – Misrepresentation as Optometrist

    Unless licensed to practice optometry under this title, a person may not represent to the public by title, by description of services, methods, or procedures, or otherwise, that the person practices optometry.

Section 11-602 – Termination of Title

Section 11-404.3 – Therapeutically Certified Optometrists — Quality Assurance

    (a)    The Board shall recommend to the Secretary quality assurance guidelines for therapeutically certified optometrists and optometric care.     (b)    After considering the recommendations of the Board, the Secretary shall adopt regulations that establish standards of quality for therapeutically certified optometrists and optometric care.
