Section 2-4A-07 – Applying for License
To apply for a license, an applicant shall: (1) Submit an application to the Board on the form that the Board requires; (2) Pay to the Board the application fee set by the Board; and (3) Submit to a criminal history records check in accordance with § 2–303.1 of this title.
Section 2-4A-23 – Representations as Licensed Music Therapist
Unless authorized to practice music therapy under this subtitle, an individual may not: (1) Represent to the public that the individual is a licensed music therapist; or (2) Use any title, abbreviation, sign, card, or other representation that the individual is a licensed music therapist.

Section 2-403 – Making False Statements in Applications
A person may not knowingly make a false, material statement in an application for a license or a limited license or for renewal of a license or a limited license.
Section 2-404 – Materially Altering License
A person may not materially alter a license or a limited license with fraudulent intent.
Section 2-405 – Transferring or Offering to Transfer License
A person may not transfer or offer to transfer a license or a limited license for consideration.
Section 2-406 – Unfair or Deceptive Trade Practices; Violation of Hearing Aid Sales Act
While providing hearing aid services as an audiologist, an audiology assistant, or a hearing aid dispenser, a person may not: (1) Engage in an unfair or deceptive trade practice, as defined in § 13–301 of the Commercial Law Article; or (2) Violate any provision of Title 14, Subtitle 25 of the Commercial Law Article.
