Section 6-601 – Definitions

Section 6-402 – Established

Section 6-602 – Program Established; Purpose
(a) There is a Community Development Program in the Department. (b) The purpose of the Program is to provide financial assistance for community development projects and community development organizations around the State.
Section 6-403 – Purposes of Program
The purposes of the Neighborhood and Community Assistance Program are to: (1) help nonprofit organizations to carry out approved projects in priority funding areas; (2) encourage business entities and individuals to invest in priority funding areas; and (3) strengthen partnerships between public and private entities.
Section 6-603 – Duties of Department
The Department shall: (1) administer the Program; and (2) adopt regulations to carry out the Program.
