Section 11-201 – Established; Purpose
(a) (1) There is a Maryland Legal Services Corporation. (2) The Corporation is a nonstock corporation. (b) The purpose of the Corporation is to receive and distribute funds to grantees that provide legal assistance to eligible clients in civil proceedings or matters.

(a) (1) The Corporation shall maintain: (i) its principal office in the State; and (ii) a designated agent to accept service of process.
