Section 2-405 – Executive Director
(a) The Secretary shall appoint an executive director of the Commission. (b) The executive director shall be a merit employee of the Department. (c) The executive director is entitled to the compensation provided in the State budget.

In this subtitle, “Commission” means the Maryland Commission for Women.
Section 2-402 – Maryland Commission for Women Established
(a) There is a Maryland Commission for Women in the Department. (b) The Commission shall report to the Governor and the General Assembly through the Secretary.
