Section 9-222 – Applicability of Other Laws

    (a)    Title 3, Subtitle 8A of the Courts Article governs detention, adjudication, disposition, and place and period of commitment of children in need of supervision and delinquent children.     (b)    The Department shall be subject to State finance and procurement laws under the State Finance and Procurement Article.

Section 9-223 – State Policy

    It is the policy of the State that the Department comply with the provisions of §§ 3-802 and 3-8A-02 of the Courts Article.
