Section 9-703 – Director of Planning and Zoning

    (a)    (1)    The board of county commissioners shall appoint a director of planning and zoning for the county.         (2)    The director shall serve at the pleasure of the county commissioners.     (b)    The planning commission may not appoint a director of planning and zoning.

    Any person aggrieved by a decision of a commission may appeal the decision in the manner provided for an appeal from the decision of the planning commission of the local jurisdiction.
