“Executive Officer” means the Administrator of the Fleet Services Division. (Added to NRS by 2013, 205)

The Executive Officer is authorized to employ such employees or procure such facilities as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter. (Added to NRS by 1961, 345; A 2013, 205)
The Governor may assign any state-owned vehicle to the Fleet Services Division and may withdraw any vehicle from any state agency and reassign such vehicle to the Fleet Services Division. (Added to NRS by 1961, 345; A 2013, 206)
The Executive Officer shall: 1. Be responsible for proper maintenance and storage of all vehicles assigned to the Fleet Services Division. 2. Maintain records to show the location and operating and maintenance costs of vehicles assigned to the Fleet Services Division. (Added to NRS by 1961, 345; A 2013, 206)
To facilitate the economical operation of state-owned vehicles, the Department of Transportation may provide to the Fleet Services Division, or to any other state agency to which a state-owned vehicle is assigned, gasoline, service or minor repairs on a direct cost-plus-service-charge basis. The Executive Officer shall adopt regulations necessary for the administration of this chapter. Such regulations shall be subject to the approval of the Governor. (Added to NRS by 1961, 345)
