NRS 417.123 – Definitions.

As used in NRS 417.123 to 417.128, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires, the words and terms defined in NRS 417.124 and 417.125 have the meanings ascribed to them in those sections. (Added to NRS by 2019, 2690)

NRS 417.124 – “Provider of health care” defined. [Effective through December 31, 2021.] “Provider of health care” defined. [Effective January 1, 2022.]

“Provider of health care” means a physician, physician assistant, advanced practice registered nurse, osteopathic physician, chiropractor, psychologist, marriage and family therapist, clinical professional counselor, clinical social worker, alcohol and drug abuse counselor, clinical alcohol and drug abuse counselor or problem gambling counselor.
