As used in NRS 439.497 to 439.499, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires, the words and terms defined in NRS 439.4972 and 439.4974 have the meanings ascribed to them in those sections. (Added to NRS by 2021, 3132)

A person or governmental entity that provides information to the Division in accordance with NRS 439.4976, 439.4978 and 439.498 must not be held liable in a civil or criminal action for sharing confidential information unless the person or organization has done so in bad faith or with malicious purpose.
