NRS 474.410 – Authority to dissolve.
Any county fire protection district may be dissolved by the board of county commissioners which formed it as provided in NRS 474.420, 474.430 and 474.440. [Part 11:121:1937; 1931 NCL § 1929.11]
NRS 474.420 – Petition of property owners for dissolution; election.
Upon receiving a petition signed by 25 percent of the owners of land within the district, requesting the dissolution thereof, the board of county commissioners shall, by resolution, submit the question of whether the district shall be dissolved at the next primary or general election.
