§ 2700. Bureau of chronic disease and geriatrics established. The state department of health shall establish a bureau of chronic disease and geriatrics, which shall develop a program designed to improve and protect the health and vitality of middle-aged and elderly citizens of the state.

§ 2702. Powers and duties. The commissioner shall have the power and it shall be his duty to employ such assistants and personnel, within the amount of the appropriation, as is necessary to carry out the provisions of this article.
