§19-1C-1. Legislative Findings

(a) The Legislature finds that the following are important to protect the health and welfare of the citizens of West Virginia: (1) Establishing standards governing the care and well-being of livestock in this state;

For the purposes of this article: (1) “Board” means the Livestock Care Standards Board.
